Australian Customs and Border Security – Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) manages the security and integrity of Australia’s borders.
They work closely with other government and international agencies, in particular the Australian Federal Police, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and the Department of Defence, to detect and deter unlawful movement of goods and people across the border.
They employ more than 5000 people in Australia and overseas and our central office is in Canberra. They have a fleet of ocean-going patrol vessels and contract two aerial surveillance providers for civil maritime surveillance and response.
