Ladakh, popularly known as “the land of numerous passes of mystic Lamas”, ‘The Moon Land’, ‘Little Tibet’, and ‘The last Shangri La’ is one of the most popular tourist destinations of India, situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Ladakh lies at an altitude from 9000 ft to 25170 feet above the sea level. At these heights, you are on the roof of the World.
Day 1: Arrive in New Delhi
Arrive at Delhi’s airport; our representative will personally meet you outside the EXIT gate of arrival terminal, holding a placard of your name to welcome you with garland and a bottle of mineral water. He will escort you till your hotel to make your hotel check-in smooth & fast. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: New Delhi then on to Manali Overnight Journey
After breakfast in hotel, get ready for a guided city tour of New Delhi with many historic monuments such as the 12th century Qutab Minar (the World’s tallest free standing minaret and it has five distinct storeys with the height of 72.5 Metres), Humayuns’ Tomb is a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture and in contrast, visits the Lotus Temple. Later drive past India Gate, the city’s World War I war memorial, the President’s residence, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, all designed by Lutyens. Later you will be transferred to bus station for a comfortable overnight journey to Manali in Air-conditioned Bus. Overnight in Volvo Bus.
Day 3: Manali (60 Kilometres Riding in & around Manali)
Morning on arrival at Manali Bus station, you will be received by our representative and transfer to Hotel and relax. Manali is located near the northern end of Kullu Valley and on the banks of River Beas. Manali – an important hill station and breathtaking natural beauty is the hallmark of this valley.
After Lunch, you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield 500cc Motorcycle and our road Captain will make you understand about the driving rules of India and you will be taught all skills to handle Royal Enfield in Indian mountains. We will ride Royal Enfield in and around Manali for local sightseeing, so you can be habituate with your motorbike for the tour. Overnight in Hotel at Manali.
Day 4: Manali to Jispa (About 145 Kilometres = 6 hours Riding)
After breakfast, get ready for Himalayas Motorcycle Tour and start ride to Jispa (3200 metres or 10,500 ft) over Rohtang la pass (3980 metres). Crossing Rohatang pass is a very challenging and exciting due to bad road and lot of wet soil in which handle a Motorcycle is really a challenging task and full of fun in this Adventure Motorcycle tour toward Jispa. Jispa is a very beautiful village situated on the bank of Bhaga River & the surrounding peaks covered with mist and clouds creating an awesome view. On arrival in Jispa, check into the hotel Ibex and relax. Later explore the area by walk.
Day 5: Jispa to Sarchu (About 100 Kilometres = 4 hours riding)
Morning after breakfast enjoy leisurely ride on Royal Enfield over the over the scenic Bara Lacha La Pass at a height of 4890 metres from MSL that is called Switzerland of India. After crossing the pass drop down to the vast Sarchu plains. Sarchu is situated on the bank of the Bhaga river & with that Sarchu offers marvellous views of the majestic Himalayas and spellbinding scenery. On arrival in Sarchu, check into the Camp & relax. Overnight in camp at Sarchu.
Day 6: Sarchu to Leh (About 250 Kilometres = 7 hours riding)
After breakfast start ride to Leh. Enroute enjoy the motorbike ride via famous Moore Plains and cross World’s second highest motorable road, called Tanglang la Pass (5360m). Later ride motorbike through the panoramic villages alongside of the splendid Indus River to the ancient city of Leh. On arrival in Leh we check-into the hotel & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.
Day 7: Leh To Sham Valley and Alchi (140 Kilometres)
After breakfast, start ride to explore 1000 years old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Likir Monastrey to visit the splendid three storeys Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you’ll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues. Later see the Indus and Zanskar river Sangam, ride along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars / motorbike defy gravity) then further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia.) Dinner and overnight in Hotel at Leh.
Day 8: Leh to Khardung then La Pass and return to Leh.
Today, the best day of this Motorcycle Riding Tour so far as you are Riding Motorcycle to Highest Motorable Road, which is about 39 Kilometres from Leh city and it is known as Motorbike ride to Khardungla La Pass (the World’s Highest Motorable Road at a height of 5606 metres), on reaching at the top, enjoy the celebration with photography session and a cup of Tea or Coffee from Highest Cafeteria in the World. Later, we ride down back to Leh. On arrival in Leh, have Lunch and later ride to visit Shanti Stupa and take a walk in colourful market of Leh. Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Day 09: Leh to Tsomoriri Lake (220 Kilometres = 6 hours riding)
After breakfast, ride to Tso Moriri Lake. Enroute enjoy the visit of 14th century Thikse monastery, It is a glorious Buddhist monastery and a marvellous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Later ride continue toward Tsomoriri. Tsomoriri Lake is a high altitude Lake in Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4595 metres above sea level. On arrival in Tso Moriri, check into the camp and relax. Overnight in camp at Tso Moriri.
Day 10: Tsomoriri Lake to Tso Kar Lake and on to Sarchu (220 Kilometres = 6 to 7 Hours riding)
After breakfast, start ride toward Sarchu via Tso Kar Lake. On arrival in Sarchu, check into the camp and relax. Overnight in Camp at Sarchu.
Day 11: Sarchu to Manali (250 Kilometres = 7 hours riding)
Today is the last day of Ladakh Motorcycle Tour and once again we ride Motorcycle over the Rohtang la pass to reach Manali. On arrival in Manali, check into the hotel and relax. In the late evening get ready for farewell Gala Dinner party with unlimited beer, dance and music with a Bon-fire and share your the experience of your Motorcycle Tour of Ladakh. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12: Manali to New Delhi, an overnight journey.
Morning free for leisure. In afternoon take a walk in colourful market of Manali. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Manali Bus Station to board Air-conditioned Volvo bus for a comfortable overnight journey to Delhi. Overnight in Volvo Bus.
Day 13: Arrive in New Delhi.
Morning on arrival in Delhi at Bus Station, you will be received by our representative & transfer to hotel and relax. Later as per your return flight schedule, you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport to board your return flight to home or we can organise your longer stay.
