  • Meeting at 9am for full tour briefing – Complete paperwork & licence requirements – Meet your Royal Enfield Himalayan – Enjoy a Vietnamese coffee – free day to explore Da Nang – 6pm meeting for dinner & drinks

Day 2 – Da Nang to Quang Ngai (Approx. 160km)

  • Coastal views from the new bridge at Hoi An – Small fishing villages and hamlets – Tam Thanh painted mural village – The secret Viet Cong tunnel base at Ky An village – The Son My memorial to the My Lai Massacre – Finish at the hotel, right on My Khe beach with time for a swim

Day 3 – Quang Ngai to Kon Tum (Approx. 220km)

  • Follow the Tra Khuc river away from the coast – Small hill tribe villages – Climb steeply into the mountains – Pine tree forests – Ethnic minority stilt houses – Waterfalls – Mang Den pass (over 100 sharp bends) – Lakes – Rubber plantations

Day 4 – Kon Tum to Thanh My (Approx. 260km)

  • Wartime tanks at Dak To – Steep mountain roads – Small hill tribe villages – Jungle – Ngoc Linh national park – Ride up to 2000m – Remote areas – The secret French prison camp – Thac Ba waterfall – Ride the Ho Chi Minh trail

Day 5 – Thanh My to Lao Bao (Approx. 280km)

  • The Ho Chi Minh Road – Epic mountain roads – Jungle filled valleys – Remote villages – The A Shau valley – Dak Rong Bridge – Ta Con Airbase – Khe Sanh combat base – The Lao Bao border town

Day 6 – Lao Bao to Phong Nha (Approx. 240km)

  • The Ho Chi Minh Road West – One of the world’s best roads for bikers – Sa Mu pass – Follow the border with Laos – Hill tribe villages – Remote jungle – Ubo mountain – Phong Nha Khe Bang national park – Victory Road 20

Day 7 – Phong Nha (Approx. 100km)

  • Optional rest day – Non-riding activities available – Ride the National Park loop – UNESCO Heritage listed area – Amazing limestone Karst mountains – Walk 1km through the Paradise Cave – Amazing scenery – Take a boat trip through the Phong Nha Cave – One of asia’s most beautiful areas – Relax by the pool overlooking the rice paddies & mountains

Day 8 – Phong Nha to Hue (Approx. 220km)

  • Following the coastline – Floating bridges – Dong Hoi City – Small fishing villages – Small water crossings – Vinh Moc tunnels – Ben Hai river (the 17th parallel) – Tam Giang Lagoon

Day 9 – Hue to Da Nang (Approx. 120km)

  • The Imperial Citadel of Hue – The ‘City of Ghosts’ cemetery – Cau Hai Lagoon – Chan May Bay Beach – Lang Co oyster farms – The Hai Van Pass – Da Nang city
