Meet David Reeves, Owner/operator.
It all began with a simple idea—riding is better when it’s shared.
David, founder of Ride The World (Australia), has been on two wheels since 1973. From his first Honda 175 to the bikes he rides today—a Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe and a Royal Enfield Himalayan—motorcycling has never just been a hobby. It’s been a lifelong companion. As he likes to say, he’s got “a bike for all reasons.”
After years of riding in Australia and overseas, David started Ride The World (Australia) in 2011 with a clear vision, to create relaxed, authentic motorcycle experiences that go beyond the ride itself—bringing together great roads, good company, and places you’d never find on your own.
Australia is home, and it’s where his passion truly comes alive. From coastal runs to quiet country backroads, David knows the kind of routes that stay with you long after the engine’s off.
This isn’t a big tour operation—it’s personal.
David works alongside a small network of like-minded riders to deliver each experience, including options for pillion rides and motor trike touring, so everyone can be part of the journey.
His background reflects that same commitment to community and quality. He’s a past President of the Ulysses Club Sydney Branch, a former Chair of the Institute of Australian Tour Guides, and a past President of Skal International Sydney South. He remains an active member across these communities, as well as the Harley Owners Group and the Royal Enfield Club Australia.
But titles aside, what matters most is the ride—and the people he shares it with.
